I've been using Word and participating extensively in several Microsoft support forums for over twenty years. For my contributions and knowledge demonstrated in the support forums I was recognized as a Microsoft Word Most Valuable Professional from 2003 - 2009. I left that program voluntarily in 2010.
In 2013 and 2014 I served as an independent contractor with Executive Office, United States Attorney's Office on their Word Automation and Transition Team. My responsibilities included developing a custom user interface and automated processes aimed at easing the transition of over 14,000 users from Word Perfect to Word. I continue as consultant with the U.S. Attorney Offices in Alexandria VA and Atlanta Georgia.
